Animated Google Doodle celebrates mother of modern dance, Martha Graham’s 117th birthday

Google has come up with its latest animated Doodle which marks the celebration of Martha Graham’s 117th Birthday. Martha Graham was an American dancer who has the credit to her name for developing a new and codified dance vocabulary that changed the trend of traditional choreography and established a lasting alternative to the ballet tradition.

The doodle made by Google shows dancers performing a series of flowing, emphatic Graham-esque moves. The whirling trails of their limbs spell out the six letters of the search engine giant’s name i.e. Google. Scroll down to check out the video.
