A Simple Tactic to Write Blog Posts that Go Viral

I can be very obsessed with writing a blog post that goes viral at times that I was able to make more than half of my blog posts in a particular month go viral. This wasn’t just a stroke of luck, but a well planned action because I carefully observed what the most popular blog post on my blog was and what types of blog posts go really viral on other blogs in my niche. As a result of this I noticed a common trend, I tested it for a month and I discovered it to be highly effective.

Viral content

It is very important, though, to know that there is nothing you can do to make each and every one of your blog post go viral, but you can do a lot to significantly improve the chances of your blog posts going viral.

This article might be very short, but I believe following the tips in it will ensure most of your posts go viral.

Understanding Your Readers

I’d like you to know that even though the tip in this article worked well for me there is no guarantee that it will work for you. I have also observed it to work in more than one niche but I have noticed it to be highly successful in the blogging / internet marketing niche.

The key is to understand your audience to see what they love and how they respond to blog posts. Once you understand this it will be easy to tailor your blog posts towards them.

The Secret is Writing Personal and Practical Posts

Yes. You heard that right!

The reality is that some bloggers will tell you to take your personal stories off your blog and to only be professional and talk about business, but in my own experience the most successful blog posts are personal posts.

By writing personal posts I’m not trying to tell you to be babbling about your dog or your cat, I’m talking about writing posts based on your personal experience or based on your personal story that readers can connect with. This kind of post can be a case study, it can be a blogging experiment or any other form of great content, but it will definitely go viral as long as it connects with your readers on a personal level.

  1. Great to see your Article here Onibalusi and you are a great content writer i like the way you write. yes as you said i have seen some blogs like Smartpassiveincome by Pat who shares personal experiences and going viral.

  2. I love the idea of a post going viral, but never really knew what kind of content to create to make that happen. The idea of doing a case study resonates with me, as I eat up that sort of thing when I find it. Thanks for getting my brain churning on this concept.

  3. Yes, if you write what you know to be true from your own experience then it will of course have the ring of truth about it. And if it relates to your own previous blog promotion efforts, you can actually refer back to the relevant posts. That gives the story other layers, which makes it more interesting to readers.
